![]() Mine is based on the fact that barbarian culture gets mounted archers when you give race special mount, so I'm leaning into it for that mongolian larp. Strong enough to fill you with regret any time you used units in transports instead of flying or naval units as the penalties would mean you would get chomped by the turtles, who would then heal from having eaten you, whilst they would just sit in their invincible shells if they felt threatened. Oh and there were a decent set of naval only neutral units, the most common (and horrifying) being these turtle fucks that would shoot spikes and chew on you with beaks and were honestly really strong compared to other things of their tier. The ocean was also home to plenty of resource pickups and resource nodes. Also the units on transports appeared as basically the units on little rafts, so instead of every unit looking identical like in this game you could easily tell what unit was what, even if the rafts looked a little silly. ![]() There was a LOT of water terrain, oil spills, floating barrels, oil rigs, rocks, weeds, whirpools, clouds, ice etc etc. ![]() Most factions had 2 dedicated naval units, though some like syndicate didn't because their boats were just flying boats you used on land anyway. ![]()
